WHAT AND WHERE

This will be a four-day hybrid event in Liberia to show off in a different way. On a grand scale, this event will show off what Individual Liberians and Families, Charity Organizations, and Businesses are doing to improve lives, reduce challenges, and empower communities and individuals across the country and elsewhere. The event will include charity career day, workshops for understanding the value of a “Sharing and Giving” culture, Sports Event, Teachers Awards, Students’ Debates and Awards, Community Service Awards, Community Cleanup Activities, Powerful Presentations from Papa & Mama-Type people (not professionals), Comments from Business Representatives, and several other activities from people like you. Join the movement and give– whether it’s some of your time, a donation, a gift or the power of your voice. Remember to always use #GivingTuesdayLiberia so that your act of giving strengthens the volunteer culture and giving movement to create a better Liberia through partnership!

WHY

We believe Liberians are tired talking about unity without efforts. It’s time to show what happens when we actually do plan, partner, serve, and give, without a political agenda. This event marks the beginning of this cultural shift in efforts and caring amongst individuals, businesses, and charity organization—a mindsets necessary for all of us.

WHO

There are well-meaning everyday Liberians in Liberia and around the world. Let’s not allow the negative narratives to overshadow their efforts or prevent us from encouraging Liberian children to model behaviors. Join the movement and give – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, a gift or the power of your voice.
